About caryn

Hi, I'm Caryn, a paediatric physiotherapist and certified breastfeeding specialist.

I am passionate about the mommy-baby bond and helping moms and their little ones find the treatment and answers they need. I believe in empowering mothers, be it through optimizing their breast feeding experience, or providing them with the information and tools they need to help their child develop optimally or overcome illness. 

While working in the combined hospital and out patient setting's for the past 11 years, my focus has been in the management of respiratory conditions, developmental delay and failure to thrive in infants, facilitating recovery after critical illness, and helping moms in the maternity ward and post-natal follow ups with breastfeeding support and treatment of related conditions. 

Prior to starting this practice I was working at a children's hospital in Dubai working with children with a spectrum of various genetic and chromosomal conditions or developmental delay, and managing associated or incidental respiratory conditions. While working there I completed my breastfeeding certification.

This practice was born soon after my son, who further fueled my passion for breastfeeding and paediatrics.
